Mobile App
The StagePulse mobile app mirrors the web app so you can run your business from a property walkthrough, not just your desk. It signs in with the same credentials — there's no separate account, no pairing, no device limit.
Installation
- iOS — TestFlight during beta, App Store at launch
- Android — Google Play Store at launch
Download, open, and sign in with your StagePulse email and password (or Google / Apple if you signed up with those).
What Mobile Is Best For
Some things are just easier on phone:
- On-site photo capture — take the before and after shots directly, no transfer step
- Quick status updates — mark a project as Active, Completed, or update notes from the driveway
- Calendar check — see what's next
- Inventory deployment — check items out to a project while you're loading the van
- Push notifications — get pinged the moment a listing goes pending or a broker replies
What's Mobile-Only (Or Mostly Mobile)
- Camera photo capture — web can upload photos but can't trigger the camera directly
- Inventory "AI add" — snap photos of an item and let AI pre-fill the name, category, and condition
What's Web-First
A few workflows are easier with a keyboard and a bigger screen:
- Invoicing setup — connecting QuickBooks or Stripe for the first time
- Contract template editing — the rich text editor works but is tight on mobile
- Statistics deep-dives — the charts are legible on mobile, but filtering is faster on web
- Team invites — can be done on mobile but most people do it on web
Push Notifications
The app receives push notifications for:
- New inbound emails routed to a project
- Listing status changes (pending, sold, etc.)
- Calendar reminders (when you've configured them)
- Contract signatures received
You can control what types you receive under Profile → Notifications in the app. You can also disable specific categories without turning off system-level notifications entirely.
Role-Aware UI
Different roles see different things:
- Owner / Admin — the full app experience
- Member — projects, calendar, contacts, photos; limited settings access
- Mover — project list and schedule only; no financials, no invoices, no contracts
This is driven by the role set on your account — no separate app for movers.
Signing In and Out
- Sign in with email/password or social (Google, Apple)
- Biometric sign-in (Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint) is supported after your first login
- Sign out from Profile → Sign Out; on shared devices, sign out every time
Offline Behavior
The mobile app requires an internet connection to do most things. Actions taken offline will fail rather than queue for later sync. If you're often in spotty-signal areas (basement walkthroughs, rural properties), keep that in mind — Wi-Fi or a stable LTE signal is needed to upload photos or create projects.
What Mobile Doesn't Do Yet
- No offline mode — no queueing writes while offline
- No widgets — no iOS home screen widget or Android lock screen widget showing today's schedule yet
- No Apple Watch / Wear OS apps — notifications reach the watch if paired, but no native watch app
- No iPad-optimized layout — the iPhone layout is what you'll see, stretched
