Project Photos

Every staging job has a before, an after, and a stack of shots in between. StagePulse stores them per project so you can find them later, feature the best one on the project card, and share them with brokers or in your portfolio.

Uploading Photos

On the mobile app (where most of this happens):

  1. Open the project
  2. Tap the Photos tab
  3. Tap Add Photo
  4. Choose Take Photo (camera) or Choose from Library (gallery, multi-select supported)
  5. For each photo, optionally set:
    • Type: Before or After
    • Room: e.g. "Living Room", "Primary Bedroom"
    • Caption: anything descriptive
  6. Tap Upload

The app compresses photos on-device before uploading — you can pick 5 photos at once and they all upload in parallel, typically finishing in a few seconds even on cell data.

On the web app, photo upload works the same way from the project Photos page, though most stagers find the mobile app more natural for on-site captures.

Photo Types and Rooms

Type is an organizing label — Before and After are the most common, and they drive the before/after carousel that shows up on the project card and in client-facing pages. You can also leave type blank.

Room is a free-text field (no enforced list), so you can name rooms however the property has them: "Living Room", "Guest Suite", "Back Patio". Keeping room names consistent across projects makes them easier to filter later.

Featured Photo

Each project can have one featured photo — the one that shows up as the project's thumbnail on the dashboard and project list. To mark a photo as featured:

  1. Open the photo
  2. Tap/click Set as Featured

Marking a new photo as featured replaces whichever photo was previously featured on that project.

Editing and Deleting
